Bilingual Education Research Paper
Bilingual and Bicultural Ed. in the Deaf Community: How do Deaf people really feel about English language acquisition? My research paper explores the views, attitudes, and experiences with English language acquisition of individuals who are Deaf. In addition, I was interested to find out about their views and attitudes about hearing teachers teaching English as a Second language (ESL in schools for the Deaf). I have collected real-world data (interviews and one recording interview) and used academic literatures to support my study. A 21st century classroom: What does it look like? (Secondary Ed.) I am a believer in Project-Based Learning (PBL) and its teaching styles. PBL is one of many student-centered instructional approaches which address academic standards as well as the development of 21st century skills. I developed a power point presentation of what I believe a 21st century classroom should look like.
