More about me
HOLOHOLO DTS
In 2009, I was part of a school called, Holoholo DTS -'Holoholo' in Hawaiian means going out or on the move and 'DTS' stands for Discipleship Training School. This school is part of a larger university system called University of the Nations (Christian organization). Holoholo DTS is a mobile school which moves around by actively reaching out to people in need, and connecting with other local ministries and churches within the Hawaiian Islands, around the South Pacific and Pacific Rim countries.
This experience made an incredible impact on my life. I had a wonderful team and the privilege of meeting outstanding people throughout this journey.

University of the Nations - T.E.S.O.L
In 2009, I received my T.E.S.O.L (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate from the University of the Nations (U of N) based in Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i. I completed an intensive six-week course that integrated 7 hours of class each day with an additional 18 hours of practice teaching and classroom observation in the community.

KAPI'OLANI COMMUNITY COLLEGE & UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI'I AT MANOA
In 2011, I graduated from Kapi'olani Community College (KCC) with my Associates of Arts degree. My Second Language Teaching (SLT) courses and service learning experiences as an ESL tutor inspired me to major in Second Language Studies (SLS) at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa (UHM).
Entering at the University level was the beginning of my professional development. It was here that I was able to use all my past experiences and knowledge to great use.
